Job Description:

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking a Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) for a W2 Contract position based in Panorama City, CA.


Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour days

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (possibility of extending)

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly rate of $20 to $25 per hour, which equates to $800 to $1,000 per week (based on a 5-day / 40-hour workweek).

Per Diems: Lodging: $191 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day

Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week

Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly + Per Diems): Between $2,739 to $2,939 per week

Benefits: Paid sick leave, Paid holidays, Co-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, Cafeteria plan access and 401(k) retirement plan.


Summary:

Provides skilled occupational therapy services to a diverse patient population, including individuals with upper extremity/hand conditions and pediatric and neurological diagnoses. Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and clinical standards of practice.


Essential Functions:

Evaluates and treats patients with hand and upper extremity conditions, including advanced hand therapy interventions.

Utilizes Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs) as appropriate to support patient recovery and functional improvement.

Provides skilled therapy services to pediatric patients and individuals with neurological conditions.

Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.

Applies advanced hand therapy techniques and functional rehabilitation strategies.

Monitors patient progress and modifies treatment plans as clinically indicated.

Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and functional strategies.

Completes accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards.

Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.

Maintains compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.

Minimum of 2+ years of occupational therapy experience required.

Hand therapy experience required; advanced hand skills strongly preferred.

Experience with Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs) required.

Pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Neurological rehabilitation experience preferred.

Ability to manage a diverse caseload across hand, pediatric, and neuro populations.

Job Description:

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking an Interim Clinical Nurse Specialist — Complex Case Management & Discharge Planning for a W2 Contract position based in Atlanta, GA.


Schedule: Full time, 8am-5pm, 5 8's

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (possibility of extending)

Compensation:

This position offers a daily rate of $640 to $660 which equates to $3,200 to $3,300 per week (based on a 5-day / 40-hour workweek)

Per Diems: Lodging: $182 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day

Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,876 per week

Auto Stipend: $25 per day

Stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week

Summary:

Develops and ensures quality standards for nursing practice for a specific patient population. Provides advanced clinical practice education, consultation, research and administration.

Supports patient care coordination and transitions across the continuum with a focus on complex case management, utilization management, and discharge planning within an acute inpatient setting. This role serves as a clinical resource and liaison between interdisciplinary teams, patients, and post-acute partners to facilitate safe, timely, and cost-effective transitions of care. Collaborates with providers, case managers, social workers, and external facilities to identify and address barriers to discharge, manage extended length of stay cases, and promote optimal clinical and utilization outcomes. CNS Certification preferred but not required.


Essential Functions:


Establishes and monitors care standards and makes recommendations for changes in area of clinical practice.

Collaborates with nursing staff in assessing patient, family age-specific nursing needs and develops plan of care for complex high-risk patients. Evaluates the effectiveness of the care provided.

Designs teaching programs for patients/families and provides assistance to nursing staff in program implementation.

Develops interdisciplinary plans of care for complex and high risk patients.

In conjunction with members of the health care team, assesses staff knowledge and identifies competency-based education needs of staff and members.

Designs and implements education programs to ensure the quality of staff knowledge and skills.

Introduces new techniques/innovation based on advanced practice trends.

May serve as a preceptor to graduate healthcare students.

Provides consultation to physicians, nurses and other heath care providers in meeting care needs of individual or groups of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Makes recommendations to change standards of care or standards of practice based on own research or the research of others.

Defines and implements best nursing practices. Assists in interviewing staff and provides input into evaluations regarding clinical competence and provides coaching and counseling.

Participates and consults in setting the direction for QA&I monitoring, establishing standards and evaluating outcomes.

Collects and analyzes data regarding patient care outcomes, trends, morbidity and mortality.


Qualifications:


BSN required. Clinical Masters in Nursing, in area of specialization, is preferred.

BLS Certification required.

Georgia RN License required.

Three years of experience in area of specialty required.


Preferred Qualifications:

ER/ICU acute care exp is preferred.

Clinical Masters in Nursing, in area of specialization preferred.

Prior Clinical Nurse Specialist experience preferred.

ACLS or PALS Certification preferred.

Schedule: Full time, Day shift, Monday through Friday 

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending


Compensation: 

This position offers a daily rate of $725 to $750 which equates to $3,625 to $3,750 per week (based on a 5-day workweek)

Manages and Directs the Medical Staff Services Department in coordinating the activities of the Organized Medical Staff.


Essential Functions:


Directs the professional activities of the Medical Staff Departments/Committees including meeting scheduling, notices, agendas, minutes and follow-up activities.

Maintains communication and serves as a liaison between the Hospital Administration and the Medical Staff.

Maintains knowledge of the applicable standards and requirements governing the Organized Medical Staff.

Develops and maintains current medical staff departmental rules and regulations.

Responsible for maintaining and implementing medical staff departmental proctoring program.

Develops/maintains medical staff departmental privileging criteria, privilege forms.

Directs the credentialing process for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.

Directs the reappointment process for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.

Maintains yearly Medical Staff meeting calendar.

Approves orders for department supplies.

Approves work orders.

Maintains employee attendance records.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred.

CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Services Management certification preferred.

Knowledge of JC, DHS, and HIPAA Standards/Requirements required.

Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Knowledge of computerized programs: Word, Outlook, Excel, Physician Databases required.

Summary:

Provides strategic and operational leadership for all surgical care areas, including the Operating Room, Pre-op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), GI/Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, and related procedural areas. Ensures the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and high-quality patient care while aligning services with Valley Presbyterian Hospital's mission, vision, and strategic goals. Partners with the Chief Nursing Officer and executive leadership to foster a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, and accountability.
 
Essential Functions:
 
Oversees the development and execution of perioperative strategic initiatives to enhance surgical service delivery and support growth.
Ensures efficient patient flow, throughput, and optimal utilization of operating room time and staff resources.
Promotes adherence to best practices in perioperative care, infection prevention, and sterile technique.
Leads quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, including the implementation of performance metrics and root cause analyses.
Recruits, develops, and retains a high-performing perioperative team including RNs, surgical technologists, SPD staff, and support personnel.
Cultivates a positive and collaborative team environment that supports professional development, shared governance, and accountability.
Develops and manages departmental budgets, labor resources, and capital equipment planning in alignment with hospital goals.
Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies while maintaining quality care.
Builds strong working relationships with surgeons, anesthesia providers, vendors, and interdisciplinary leaders to ensure coordinated patient care and smooth operations.
Acts as the key point of contact for perioperative service line initiatives and projects.
Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements including The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and Title 22.
 
 
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Nursing required. Master of Science in Nursing or related field preferred (MBA, MHA).
Current California RN License required.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital, with at least three (3) years in perioperative services.
At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role (manager or director level) in a perioperative setting.
