Job Description:
Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is actively building priority pipelines for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) interested in flexible Locum Tenens opportunities across Kansas and regional healthcare systems.
Assignment Duration: Varies by opportunity (short-term, long-term, PRN, and ongoing coverage available)
Compensation: Competitive compensation packages based on specialty, schedule, and assignment requirements. Weekly direct deposit provided for all assignments. Travel and lodging coordination included when applicable. Malpractice coverage provided
Opportunities may include 7on / 7off schedules, call coverage, rural and regional assignments, and both long-term and PRN opportunities

Specialty and Surgical Coverage
Essential Functions:
Provide high-quality patient care within assigned specialty and clinical setting
Support hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems with short-term, long-term, or ongoing provider coverage
Maintain compliance with facility credentialing, privileging, and onboarding requirements
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new environments, workflows, and facility systems
Participate in call coverage and flexible scheduling requirements as needed
Qualifications:
Active state medical license or ability to obtain licensure
Board certification or board eligibility preferred based on specialty
Current BLS / ACLS certifications as required by specialty
DEA registration (if applicable)
Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience preferred
Previous locum tenens or hospital-based experience strongly preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse clinical environments
