Schedule: 5x8s, 3:30pm-12am

Summary:


Directs and controls the efficient delivery of one or more laboratory support services while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements. Responsible for overseeing operations including information processing, specimen management, client services, technology improvements, budgeting, compliance, and strategic planning across the Regional Laboratory and integrated laboratory system.


Essential Functions:


Directs and controls the efficient delivery of one or more support service areas including information processing, specimen management, and client services

Prepares, manages, and monitors department budgets for operational efficiency and cost control

Negotiates contracts with vendors, internal support groups, and customers

Develops pricing strategies for new business ventures and client partnerships

Recruits, hires, trains, and ensures competency of technical and support staff

Oversees technical staff and supports rapid changes in services technology and automation

Directs evaluation and implementation of technological advancements to improve workflows and business processes

Develops new service delivery packages to meet changing client and organizational needs

Implements and oversees departmental Total Quality Management initiatives

Participates in the design and improvement of Regional Laboratory and Northern California integrated laboratory quality systems

Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and compliance agency requirements

Designs, implements, and monitors effective risk control processes

Improves system infrastructures including information networks, courier systems, and operational workflows

Manages diverse regional and program-wide projects within a matrix organizational structure

Develops strategic plans that reduce the overall cost of medical care while aligning with organizational goals and vision

Develops marketing strategies for new products and new clients

Provides consultation to sourcing initiatives, ITS, Construction Services, Optical Labs, and other peer service groups


Qualifications:


Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field required; OR Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field required; OR equivalent years of experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-volume clinical laboratory required

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory and management experience required

Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in service specialty areas such as Specimen Management, Computer Support, or related laboratory operations required

Certification in service specialty areas such as Telecommunications, CNA, CNE, or Client Services preferred

Valid current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required

Essential Functions:


Provide high-quality patient care within assigned specialty and clinical setting

Support hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems with short-term, long-term, or ongoing provider coverage

Maintain compliance with facility credentialing, privileging, and onboarding requirements

Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes

Adapt quickly to new environments, workflows, and facility systems

Participate in call coverage and flexible scheduling requirements as needed


Qualifications:


Active state medical license or ability to obtain licensure

Board certification or board eligibility preferred based on specialty

Current BLS / ACLS certifications as required by specialty

DEA registration (if applicable)

Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience preferred

Previous locum tenens or hospital-based experience strongly preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse clinical environments

Summary:

Essential Functions

Essential Functions:


Manages the operations of 24-hour departments that may be at multiple locations.

Ensures Assistants and staff provide the highest quality of care and are in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local requirements.

Establishes, implements, and maintains patient care and service standards to meet members and internal clients expectations.

Designs and evaluates processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.

Develops and monitors budgets for the appropriate use of human and material resources.

Summary:


The Interim Assistant Nurse Manager – Outpatient Services is responsible for supporting the daily operations of ambulatory clinic functions, with a focus on patient access, scheduling, and care coordination. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient workflows, high-quality patient care, and a positive patient experience. The Interim Assistant Nurse Manager will help lead staff, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.


Essential Functions:


Support daily operations of outpatient/ambulatory services, including scheduling and patient care coordination.

Supervise and provide guidance to clinical and administrative staff, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.

Schedule: Full time, 5 8's Days, 8:30am-5pm
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending
Compensation: 
This position offers a daily rate of $640 to $660 which equates to $3,200 to $3,300 per week (based on a 40 hour workweek).
Per Diems: Lodging: $182 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,876 per week
Auto Stipend: $25 per day
Auto stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly + Per Diems + Auto Stipend): Between $5,251 to $5,351 per week

Summary:


Develops and ensures quality standards for nursing practice for a specific patient population. Provides advanced clinical practice education, consultation, research and administration.

Supports patient care coordination and transitions across the continuum with a focus on complex case management, utilization management, and discharge planning within an acute inpatient setting. This role serves as a clinical resource and liaison between interdisciplinary teams, patients, and post-acute partners to facilitate safe, timely, and cost-effective transitions of care. Collaborates with providers, case managers, social workers, and external facilities to identify and address barriers to discharge, manage extended length of stay cases, and promote optimal clinical and utilization outcomes. CNS Certification preferred but not required.

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking a Vascular Interventional Technologist for a W2 Contract position based in San Diego, CA.


Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours (rotational call may be required)

Assignment Duration: 26 Weeks (possibility of extending)

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly rate of $40 to $45 per hour, which equates to $1,600 to $1,800 per week (based on a 5-day / 40-hour workweek).

Per Diems: Lodging: $199 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day

Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,995 per week

Total Weekly Compensation (Hourly + Per Diems): Between $3,595 to $3,795 per week

Summary:

Performs specialized vascular and interventional radiologic procedures in a high-acuity clinical setting. Assists physicians during angiographic and interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety, radiation protection, and high-quality imaging standards. Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.


Essential Functions:

Performs vascular and interventional radiology procedures including angiography and complex image-guided interventions.

Assists physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.

Prepares and positions patients for procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.

Operates fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment in accordance with safety standards.

Maintains sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.

Monitors patient condition throughout procedures and responds appropriately to changes.

Ensures proper documentation of procedures and imaging.

Participates in on-call rotation as required.

Maintains equipment readiness and ensures quality control standards are met.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of vascular/interventional radiology experience required.

Successful completion of department angiography interventional training program required.

Current CRT with Fluoroscopy Permit required.

ARRT (R) certification required.

Current BLS certification required.

Advanced certification preferred: ARRT - Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) and/or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV).

California Venipuncture Certificate preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity interventional environment.
