Job Description:

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking an Interim Rehabilitation Supervisor for a W2 Contract position based in Sacramento, CA.
 
Schedule: Full time, 5 8's Days, 8:30am-5pm
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending
Compensation:
This position offers an hourly rate of $50.62 to $53.12 which equates to $2,024.80 to $2,124.80 per week (based on a 40 hour workweek). Position qualifies OT, DT and compensation for on-call.
Per Diems: Lodging: $150 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,652 per week
Auto Stipend: $25 per day
Auto stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems + Auto Stipend): Between $3,851.80 to $3,951.80 per week

Summary:
Oversees daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient resource management. Supervisees staff, implements best practices, and coordinates patient care delivery.

Essential Functions:
Oversee the work of nurses and other healthcare professionals, including scheduling, performance management, and providing guidance and support.
Ensuring that patient care is delivered according to established standards, protocols, and best practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Assist in the efficient allocation and utilization of resources, such as staffing, supplies, and equipment, within the home health unit.
Facilitate the coordination of patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and patient-centered care.
Assist in the implementation and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations within the home health unit.
Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of new staff members and ensuring staff competency.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy curriculum with a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy or a related field.
