Job Description:

HCEPInc. is seeking an Interim Perioperative Services Nurse Manager for a W2 Contract position based in Los Angeles, California.
 
Schedule: Full time, 5 8's Days
Assignment Duration: 3-6 Months 
Compensation: This position offers a daily rate between $725 to $750 per day which equates to $3,625 to $3,750 per week (based on a 40-hour workweek).
Per Diems: Lodging: $191 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week
Auto Stipend: $25 per day
Auto stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems + Auto Stipend): Between $5,739.00 to $5,864.00 per week
Benefits: Paid sick leave, Paid holidays, Co-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, Cafeteria plan access and 401(k) retirement plan.

 Summary:

Plays a key leadership role, balancing clinical care and administrative oversight.  Involves coordinating high-quality patient care, managing department operations, and ensuring performance goals are met. Responsibilities include staff supervision, patient care planning, communication with physicians and teams, and maintaining compliance with legal and professional standards. The Interim Nurse Manager also supports staff development, fosters a culture of service excellence, and drives continuous improvement in surgical care. Strong leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills are essential in supporting the hospital's mission of exceptional patient care.
 
 Essential Functions:

 Demonstrates knowledge of leadership within the framework of service delivery.
 Identifies measurable goals for performance improvement and prescribe actions to achieve them.
 Communicates and documents the effectiveness of medical/nursing interventions to the healthcare team and patients.
 Fosters a culture of service satisfaction and assist with the orientation of new nursing staff.
 Participates in staff meetings and present in-service training as needed.
 
Qualifications:

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.   Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Minimum 4 years of experience within clinical specialty, with 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
