Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. / Azad is seeking an Interim Continuum of Care Nurse Manager for a W2 Contract position based in Atlanta, GA.
 

Schedule: Full Time, Day, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation: 
This position offers a daily rate of $675 to $690 which equates to $3,375 to $3,450 per week (based on a 5-day workweek)
Per Diems: Lodging: $182.00 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,876 per week
Auto Stipend: $25 per day

Auto Stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week 

Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems + Stipend): Between $5,426 to $5,501 per week

Summary:

The position is accountable for implementing evidence-based care models and patient care delivery systems, ensuring consistent practice standards across assigned locations. Duties include investigating and resolving patient or family concerns, collaborating with physicians, providers, and multidisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective, and coordinated care. The role also monitors staffing and resource utilization, oversees equipment and supply maintenance, and fosters a culture of safety and clinical excellence. This role maintains clinical competency, provides professional oversight and direction to staff, delegates appropriately within scope of practice, and performs clinical responsibilities as required.

 

Essential Functions:

Oversees the continuum of care and care-at-home operations to support quality patient outcomes. Implements action plans that meet timelines and financial commitments, analyzes data to drive operational improvements, and ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Leads workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development efforts, while managing department budgets and expenditures in collaboration with leadership.

Ensures standardized, high-quality care delivery through collaboration with physicians, clinical leaders, and external partners. Monitors patient care management to promote safety and continuity across the care continuum, oversees resource utilization, vendor relationships, and emergency preparedness initiatives, and leads project teams to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

 

Qualifications:

BSN or BA in health care related field strongly preferred. Masters degree preferred.  Will consider experience in lieu of degree(s).

GA RN License required.

BLS required.

Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible nursing experience spanning clinical practice and leadership in related specialties.

Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, and other local, state, federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Adult learning knowledge.

BLS and ACLS.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and group facilitator process skills.

Must possess a thorough knowledge of the California Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, Title 22, QA, BRN regulations.

Summary:

Provides strategic and operational leadership for all surgical care areas, including the Operating Room, Pre-op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), GI/Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, and related procedural areas. Essential Functions:
 
Oversees the development and execution of perioperative strategic initiatives to enhance surgical service delivery and support growth.
Ensures efficient patient flow, throughput, and optimal utilization of operating room time and staff resources.
Promotes adherence to best practices in perioperative care, infection prevention, and sterile technique.
Leads quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, including the implementation of performance metrics and root cause analyses.
Recruits, develops, and retains a high-performing perioperative team including RNs, surgical technologists, SPD staff, and support personnel.
Cultivates a positive and collaborative team environment that supports professional development, shared governance, and accountability.
Develops and manages departmental budgets, labor resources, and capital equipment planning in alignment with hospital goals.
Identifies opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies while maintaining quality care.
Builds strong working relationships with surgeons, anesthesia providers, vendors, and interdisciplinary leaders to ensure coordinated patient care and smooth operations.
Acts as the key point of contact for perioperative service line initiatives and projects.
Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements including The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and Title 22.
 
 
Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Nursing required. Master of Science in Nursing or related field preferred (MBA, MHA).
Current California RN License required.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital, with at least three (3) years in perioperative services.
At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role (manager or director level) in a perioperative setting.

Summary:

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Utilization Review and Discharge Planning supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing operations related to care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization management. This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate resource use, timely patient transitions, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while fostering collaboration across interdisciplinary teams. The Assistant Nurse Manager provides leadership to nursing and support staff, drives quality initiatives, and ensures that patient-centered discharge planning aligns with organizational standards and best practices.


Essential Functions:


Provides leadership and supervision for utilization review and discharge planning functions.

Qualifications:


Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Certification: Current BLS certification required.

Minimum 3-4 years of clinical nursing experience relevant to utilization review, discharge planning, or care coordination.

At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience required.

Strong knowledge of discharge planning standards, medical necessity criteria, and payer regulations.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to achieve patient-centered outcomes.

Job Description:

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is actively recruiting for a permanent Chief Nursing Officer position based in Ontario, CA.
 
The current compensation range for this role is between $225,000 to $250,000 annually, with potential for adjustment depending on qualifications. Detailed information regarding the benefits package will be made available during the preliminary interview discussions. 
 
Summary
The Chief Nursing Officer serves as the senior executive leader for all nursing services, responsible for strategic leadership, operational excellence, and the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. The CNO works collaboratively with executive leadership, medical staff, and department directors to ensure nursing practices meet or exceed regulatory standards and align with the organization's mission and goals.
 
Essential Functions
Provide executive leadership for all nursing departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
Partner with medical staff leadership to advance quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Manage nursing operations, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency.
Foster a culture of professional excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning among nursing staff.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
Serve as a visible, accessible leader and role model for ethical, patient-focused decision-making.
Drive initiatives to improve patient experience, employee engagement, and clinical outcomes.
 
Qualifications
Active CA Registered Nurse License required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing field required.  Master's degree highly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including 3 years in a senior executive role (CNO, VP of Nursing, or equivalent).
Proven track record of leading large, complex healthcare operations with measurable outcomes in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage multi-million-dollar operating budgets.
Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
